This would also be my first go around at breeding this species, but I suspect that there is no need for brumation as they are a tropical species which does not experience drastic seasonal temperature changes. If proximity alone is not enough to inspire breeding, then a simulation of the wet season by heightening the humidity in the environment for a period of a month or two may incite a response.
