im sorry about your loss... ive never heard of a crested shedding like that, and couldnt find any info that could have helped you.. everyone is upset with a loss, no matter the condition of the animal, age, anything. its the reason we own them. we love them, theyre a part of our family, even if you intend to sell them, its your time, your work into the little guy. good luck with your other babies, and lets hope this doesnt happen again. best of luck
