I'm glad to report that five of the eight have already taken small crawfish. It's pretty cool that the birth of the glossy's seems to coincide with that of crawfish. I have caught enough crawfish of different sizes to last a couple babies through the winter. I will release the rest in my ditch where the crawfish came from. I live in Moss Bluff,La(Lake Charles area). The large female that gave birth to them also eats ft crawfish. They are really cool snakes to work with if you have the resources. Trolligans if you are near by give me an email mattwen@yahoo.com.
