Boys and girls, I just got my first Dumeril's yesterday, a week old newborn. I have about a dozen colubrids whom I think are beautiful, but, honestly, I am speechless looking at this boa. God got it right with these beauties!

I can't seem to put her down, she is so calm and gorgeous. Is it possible for me to handle her too much? I know I need to get her acclimated to her environment as I have done with my other snakes. Usually I don't even look at my new snakes for a week, but man, I just can't keep my hands off of her!

Enjoy your weekend!
