I was born and raised in Chicago and moved about 4 years ago. Last I saw you could not keep ANY Poisonous reptiles. (however you do see the loophole there). No such thing as poisonous. I hope you're right and Boiga are a great species. I used to sit up at night and watch mine for hours. (yes, I had them when I lived in IL). Where I reside now I can pick up copperheads all day long.
