My adult sorong import had a rough first year. She has only recently begun feeding but since I found the magic of soft furs she's taken about a dozen meals. Before she took her first meal she was thin but not awful looking... and then she went into a shed and overnight became a nasty wrinkled mess and looked near death. She has since shed, though incompletely despite frequents mistings/baths but interestingly the shed portions (almost the whole snake) now look fine and the head and neck are still wrinkled. Do they "suck in" to try to loosen the outer layer of skin??
