I'm newbie and about to get some Levis Knobtails. I'm going to keep them in a Rubbermaid container. What is the best way to provide adequate heat for the Levis housing them in a Rubbermaid container? I was thinking of using a Exo-Terra heat pad. But would the heat pad melt the bottom of the plastic Rubbermaid container? Is it neccessary to also get a rheostat or thermostat to maintain a constant temperature or is a heating pad enough? How safe and reliable is the heat pad and rheostat/thermostat to be used 24 hours a day and not cause a fire? Since they have to be turned on all day, and nobody is home most of the time at my house. Should I be worried that the heat pad and rheostat/thermostat at might malfunction and burn my house down?
