How cold does the room get? Remember, as long as your cham gets the chance to warm up thoroughly every day (so he can eat, drink, digest food, etc) the cooler night temp may not be a problem. If the room stays warmer than 50 F you are OK. You can drape a towel or sheet over the cage to protect from chilly drafts at night. Also, you can hang clear plastic sheeting such as a shower curtain over the back and sides for the entire winter to help hold in humidity and keep the temp a bit more stable. Misting with warm water instead of tap temperature will help too. Feed early enough in the day so he can digest while the cage is warm...don't feed late in the afternoon.
