Well, if you had this trio in a 20gal, it would almost be too large of an enclosure. They should have been quarantined separately in simple small enclosures. If you had a pair in a well planted 5 gal you probably would not be able to keep track of them. Also, trios dont always get along. I had two adult females kept together for a while, and then separated them (while they were getting along). I later reintroduced them to eachother with a male in a much larger enclosure that was well planted. I noticed one female was acting a little more dominant towards the other but didnt think anything of it because they used to get along. A couple days later, I found the lesser female dead. She was nutritionally healthy too. Also, with this species, there is no need to have a trio. In one breeding season, one adult female golddust can give you enough offspring to keep you busy for two years.
