I'm suprised your beardie ate them though, I think its more of an issue of training them to eat it from when they are little more than anything. I would feed crickets, mealworms, superworms, guppies, and mice. You can try veggies but I honestly have never actually heard of a dragon eating them, although all the care sheets say you should attempt to offer them somewhat regularly. I wouldn't bother...
