They absolutly love mice, but they get sick of them if you feed it too often. I feed my aussi a hopper 1-2x a week and crix once a week and thats all. I have had him for 2 years and he is over a pound now. The mice are a lot more nutritional and keep the weight on without breaking your budget. It depends on the size of the dragon though, mine is full grown and I wouldn't do anything larger than a hopper. Rabbits are way too big and I'm not familiar with quail sizing, but if they are a lot bigger than a adult mouse then they will not work.
