Please help me! I lost my skink!

I lost my poor skink... he went into the wall and I'm really worried for him! What do I do? I put some canned crickets outside in a little cardboard box and it smelled terrible, will that lure him out?? I turned off the lights and made sure the cats couldn't get in... What else can I do??
