Hmmmm

Possibly sperm retention.....

Plus that is not quite what my babies look like!!!

I do have a few mutations that seems Co-Dom......

I would expect your blue parents will make even more amazing looking babies than what you have already hatched.

I have a group where they are all blue and there is a male that is also blue but has a bit of green.... Basically they all look compatible, I breed them together and we make NORMALS!!!

I would like to see what those babies turn into!!!!

Calico to calico makes "normal" looking babies...but their dark resting color appears darker and more on the red side..

I have hatched them raised them and watched some change......and I do mean "some"!

Welcome to the wonderful world of figuring out Tokay genetics.....

SATAN

>>Hello Kevin.
>>
>>I have done what was sold to me as powder blue to blue headed green, and produced a single baby which again is patternless. So i assumed that dad was just an exceptionally pretty blue headed green (having seen your site - finding them to be single recessive)- i will post pictures in a mo of the pogeny.
>>
>>Then i thought a few months back all these morphs are so weird crazy i may as well start doubling up morphs and see if i get anything out.
>>
>>So the male Calico went in the the two BHG girls. From two eggs from those copulations two blue headed greens have resulted. (plus i know the calico has been active as well because i have 2 calico x calico babies as well - at the moment looking frustratingly normal!)
