It would be best to keep the plants in pots, unless you have to right mixture for the plants set up in your terarrium and it is very deep. It will just be easyer and better off for the plant to keep them in the pots. Also another good plant would be a snake plant sometimes called mother inlaws tounge. Very hardy and sturdy plant. And maybe an unbrella plant. ----- Anna
