They have not shown signs of stress being next to each other before"...I don't think it would be having anything to do with it while she is in the hole....but it would be a good idea to have a visual barrier between the cages anyhow.

You said..."We are just worried about whether shes going to lay at all now and worried that we are disturbing her"...you need to be careful that she doesn't see you when she is digging. Its okay for her to see you if she is up in her branches.
