Hello tort folks!

My wife and I are getting a greek tort from Abbott and wanted to see what styles of lighting would you use? I was thinking a 10.0 along with M. vapor lamp. Our only beef with vapor lamp is they are only sold as 100 watts and up and we had that once and lasted for only a couple months or so and must be used straight down.
I also understand that a basking heat lamp sold for reptiles in pet stores is a rip off and i am planning to buy a spot style bulb sold at hardware stores. My question is should i use flood or spot? Thanks for helping me out.
