Well, you definitely will have the space requirement covered for an egyptian  Only issues with housing outdoors, would be getting the temperatures consistent. You will probably have to invest some money into a rheostat to keep the temps where they need to be during the day and night. You can build the enclosure easily enough by using a formaldehyde free material (oak ply or some melamine) just research the materials before you buy it.
The major concern here of course is safety. How are you going to get power out to the shed? Running an extension cord from the house is definitely not the safest way to go, and it may be expensive to have an electrician run power out to the shed, as you may need to pass some kind of building code with that. It is a good idea, just getting it to work in practice may be a trick. If you pull it off definitely let us know and post a picture of a nice big shed enclosure
