My juvinille soft shell, George, has been acting odd lately. He is in a 20gallon long aquarium with basking light, basking dock, and filter. He eats like a pig-mainly Repto-Min krill pellets, meal worms, and repto-min floating sticks. I have not got a heater for him as of yet, since during the day his tank is between 80-85 amd at night may drop down to 72. I cleaned his tank completely, used turtle clea, and two days later the water has a yellow tint to it. (His gravel and basking stone are natural orangey stone color). He also has been staying buried most of the day and then coming out to swim and eat at night. This is my baby, and I am scared his slight behavior change means something is wrong. Does anyone have some insight for me?
