i have had my turtle for a month and a half. My turtle also stays under the sand during the day and comes out at night. The turtle is adapting to your hours. Most of the time it will come out after you go to sleep and when all the lights go out. Nothing is wrong. after a while he will start getting use to you. it will take some time.
