Having a male and two females is a good place to start a breeding project. In my opinion, it would be more desirable to obtain a female red back to breed to your male, and a male carrot tail to breed to the female CT, instead of mixing types. Do you have any info on the origin of your second female? State, County, Mt. range, etc. any info could help identify what type she is.
