Males have a row of enlarged femoral/preanal pores (females also have these pores, but they are smaller and on a male you can usually see a bit of wax-like substance coming out) as well as a slight hemipenal bulge. However, the bulge is not nearly as pronounced in P.m.grandis (or any of the day geckos to my knowledge) as with some of the leaftails and other geckos.
