Getting late in season even in Phoenix, but perhaps you'll see one or more. Keep in mind that they are protected within the park and rangers are quite aware of their allure...leave 'em there! Specific population became protected as a result of hikers finding bags (!) of them secreted in rocks presumably for a night pickup, as well as someone seeing a "cage full" at a Florida wholesaler!
