Anyway I will definately be getting a male and I just finsihed the setup.I will have pics soon when i fix my camera. Its a 30 gallontank for now. Has one 10" dome lamp on the left side(hot side) with a 100 watt normal light bulb ona timer 14 on 12 off.the temps ambient with my digital thermometer are high from 77-82 and the hot spot provided by a heat pad under his log hide is 94. I used newspaper as bedding and there is 1 log hide on the left side, and on the cool side ive placed a nice humid hide with dampended sphagnum moss. There is also a small climbing branch and a 6x6" waterbowl for drinking. Aty night with the lamp off the temps are mid 70s is that too cold, it seemd to do well with all my other snakes. Also im having humidity issues. I was told by someone that as long as I have the humid hide ill be ok though. The humidity is around only 40% but i can get it higher once I mist, also it jumps to about 50 at night. So anyway thats my setup, now how can I improve it to make the best home for him.?
