Nonetheless, 13 hatchlings arrived the other day and I'm raising them 'til winter. My options are few here, seeing (1) I don't like to give hatchlings to people ignorant of turtles and (2), petshops are notorious places for turtles.

So my only option is, to let them go, which is controvesial since captive turtles can destroy native breeds. But this is overseas, and I'm thinking this is what I'll do.
