Has anyone had any problems with eggs that have been laid with harder than normal shells? It seems that there is too much calcium deposited on the shell itself, and the eggs look a bit decimated, like they can't absorb moisture. They each have one small spot where they look normal, so i am hoping that that is enough to allow air/ moisture to pass through.. There seems to be embryos on the inside though. The mother does have extensive calcium sacs in her throat. Maybe i should cut back on the supplements, as i do tend to oversupplement the gravid.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Much thanks, j -----
