I own both a beardie and a bts. Their requirements are similar...I always provide fresh greens, with some type of veggie or squash on top every morning. The dragon gets super worms a couple times a week while the skink gets canned cat food (Wellness Core turkey & chicken) 2-3 times a week. Once she wakes up, I plan to start cooking some fresh meats for her.

As far as your question about the prepared diet or pellets, the vet I took my BTS didnt recommend any. Freshly prepared foods are always going to be the best option for your animals. I don't see why some pellets would hurt anything, if added in the salad or the meat. Just remember, that an adult BTS does not need protein daily, but only a couple times a week, much like dragons.
