There are various bacterial conditions that result in pustules/blisters that are generically referred to as blister disease. The etiology differs and numerous causative organisms have been identified. A good vet would run a culture and prescribe the most effective antibiotic. A cheaper option would be to forgo the culture and hit it with a broad spectrum antibiotic but this can sometimes end up costing more in the long run with a second office visit and additional medication when the condition does not clear up with the first treatment.
