I know there was a couple other threads about angy iguanas but i didnt want to invade there space, though i have read them and the responses if there were any. My little guy is about 7-9 snout vent length. I hold him and pet him at least 2-3 times a day, 30ish mins at a time and the entire time i have him out hes always got his dewlap stuck out, he calms down a little bit but hes like on edge the whole time, granted it looks cute but it wont be once he gets bigger and that tail starts hurting. it just seems like hes getting worse. He gets a healthy diet of greens fruits, and all the good stuff, hes inside of an enclosure thats 50" tall by 36" wide by 24" deep its got 3 branches that are plenty big enough for him to bask on and lounge around, a pool at the bottom, a hide box and a few vines hanging down from the top to make it feel homey. Theres no sides on it, im trying the "free roam" thing for the first time..My buddy got him from the flea market where he stayed ina 10 gallon tank with not so good food a horrible envirnment and a cat that had a interest for him for about a week until i took him cause he needed better treatment and its been the best possible so far, ive had him for about a month month and a half.
