They don't go at it like rattlesnakes or pythons with a lot of slapping. Amazons tend to just wrap around each other and constrict. They will kill each other if you let them go. Amazons breed very readily there's absolutely no need to combat males. If it's case where your not sure what sexes you have it's better to separate them until they can be checked.
