I am having trouble finding any study type material on fire skinks, and the data out there has mixed opinions on the social/solitary nature of fire skinks. I see that people successfully keep them in groups but read in some care sheets that this is not advisable. I also know that some species of skinks actually live in large familial groups. The only potential "outcasts" are male offspring. Are fire skinks like this or are they more solitary?
