Hi Joe,
when dinner is not underway, I often take photographs there as the lighting is good. Prior to moving into a co-op we owned a home for about 10 years, but as my mother aged (coming up on 75) we decided to move east out near Long Island so we could be closer and be of assistance. It's a sacrifice but has proved beneficial in several ways. I went from an entire furnished and functional basement (oh man, had a pool table, several dart boards, mini bar, the works....) to working out of a medium-sized walk-in closet now. So yeah, I take to the big table for photo time during the cool months. Otherwise, I prefer taking photos outside but then again in the warmer months I'm either herping or at the beach. Yeah, TRY and keep me home after several months of brumation.
The booze -- ehhhh, a modest collection of white wines as well as tequilas and rums. Salud!!!
Somehow tequila is always afoot, even on vacations. But this one was taken in Mehico -- so that doesn't count! That's just par for the course. Actually, we had just gotten back froma show at the resot where a raffle had taken place -- I won the grand prize with this bottle. Coincidentally, we had this neat tree frog (I'm not into amphibs so I never identified it...) stuck to our cabana door upon return after dark. Two very well-behaved specimens . . .
