Females are bred every 2 years at best.

I dont recall seeing someone breeding a male to more than 2 females in a given season.
Its better if you save the male for 1 female. I´ve seen breeding failures quite a few times, even when successful copulations do happen.

I belive that 1 male for 2 females is a good breeding stock. This way you can always have a single male and a single female each season.
