my BTS' nose

i just adopted a BTS from someone who knew what they were doing and took great care of it. the only reason she gave it away was because she rescues lizards as a side hobby. anyways, the skink is in great health but it has something on its nose that looks like an old sore. it is not an open sore at all and has healed. I am pretty sure that it is from him rubbing his nose on the glass tank trying to get out. i have a 4ft long 22 inch wide glass tank so i'm pretty sure its big enough. but are glass tanks annoying to Blue Tongue Skinks?
