There is a "williamasi" in another genus, but it is definately not a dwarf gecko, I'm not even sure it's a gecko. If you need info on care, google-ing "lygodactylus care" might be more helpful because all of them are cared for in roughly the same way.

The problem with common names is people probably call both the phelsuma (which is a large, light blue colored gecko, I can't remember the species) and the Lygodactylus williamasi "Electric blue geckos" or "Neon day geckos" or whatever they want. So to answer you question, you really can't, it could be either. I mean hell, I could call a Lygotactylus williamasi a "dwarf day gecko", if I wanted, but then what about all the smaller Phelsuma species, well I can call them that too.
