Hi have three Candoia bibroni bibroni, Fiji Boas, but these seem closely related to australis. They change colour all the time, although they used to do it faster when they were very small.

In particular they seem to alter depending on the background I have them on. When I kept them in a glass tank on bleached out drift wood, they tended to be pale, one preferred normal brown/pink, one was usually silver/grey and the other preferred pale pink, but they could all be brown when they felt like it.

Now I have them in a darker enclosure with darker wood, they are usually all brown, and the one who used to like being pink tends to be a really dark brown. however, if I handle them for more than about 30 minutes, they will all change to light brown.

I'm thinking of trying a tartan tank next....
