The REPTIFOGGER is awesome! You do not have to worry about it burning up. It has an automatic shut off when the water is low. It sits outside of the cage and has adjustable settings. Yes you can use the one liter bottle it comes with or a 2 liter soda bottle. I have used both. If you use a soda bottle it is a thinner plastic and will cave in after a week or so so change it out every few days if you do that. You can put them on a timer too if you want! Humidity stays way high but of course you want to mist them too at least twice a day. Hope this helps!
