Not a good idea to use mulch substrate though.... LOTS of stories about geckos becoming impacted and dying on that stuff. If you prefer to have a more natural setup, go with eco earth... There is still the possibility of impaction happening on that stuff as well, but WAY less chance than becoming impacted on the mulch or any bark or wood chip substrate.
