Doesn't seem to affect anything else and it spreads like wildfire if not carefull. I'm at the point once I find a "z' with it, I don't mess around. Sadly, it's off to the freezer before more contract it. On another note, I've found it twice in the wild. Once back in 1995 in the San Bernardino Mountains. A adult pair under the same rock and another under a rock next to the pair. All 3 had the disease full blown. Then two seperate snakes in the same rock pile on Mount palomar back in 2002.
