hello everyone this is my first thread i hope someone can help me, i got a new basilisk, its a baby 3 inches snout to vent, still brownish, has a very strong appitite, very alert, balanced, terrarium basking sites, cool spots and ambient temp are correct, uv uvb bulbs on a night/day cycle (infared at night)
lots of water, which he doesnt seem to like, humidity is right

the two things im worried about is

a: hes very lazy, i have been feeding him alot (as much as he wants, up to 6 a day) he seems hungry, but when theres no food he'll literally sit there for hours, not in the basking site though up high in the leaves... away from the light kinda by the opening of the door for the tank

b:he has NO fear of me or anything else, i can literally put my hand in front of him and he'll walk right up and fall asleep on my hand, if i pick him up he seems limp unless hes already bouncing off the walls which he does rarely.

am i feeding him so much hes too fat to bounce around?
is he sick?
and why is he so friendly?

thanks for the help
