I was cleaning out my veiled's cage the other day, and thinking he was getting to the size where I really needed to get going on that large screen enclosure, when suddenly I got a different idea. I had read some articles in the past about setting up a chameleon, sans cage, on a ficus tree or something similar, and realized that I had what I needed to give it a try. So 5 days ago, I set up Theodore's "open air" hang. He seems quite content with it. Here are some pics.
Theo about to give a bug a good tongue-lashing.
T has started drinking right from the sprayer on occasion.
Here are some pics from when I first got him out to clean his cage...he's a bit peeved in a few of these shots, hence the colors and puffing up.
