Wierd Red Eared Slider

I have a 10 year old male res. for the last 3 years he has become very clingy. when he is out of the tank he wants to be picked up and i hold him like a baby on my chest. some time he wants to crawl up further; when he does he bites onto my hair. he does this a lot. anyone else have such a clingy turtle and a hair biter?
