I've been interested in frog keeping for some time now, and have been reading that whites are good starter frogs. I do have a couple things I am having trouble figuring out though. Do they need a "buddy?" I'd be happy keeping just one, but if I need to get 2 to make them happier, I can do that too.

Also, how loud are they? I know that the males will call, but the viv would be in my room, so I can't have anything too loud(and I have neighbours, through painfully thin walls, and don't want anything that would be easily heard through them)

Thank you
