It is good to share, and I will put that in my "bank of good advice" file. Bailey was beyond needing just prolapse care with those hind legs just dangling. I don't think he suffered too much since he couldn't feel anything down there. I have a good vet and I hope he can shed more light after the necropsy, but trying to keep him alive would have been gruesome for him and for me too. Sigh. Thanks for being there.
