My Uro just laid 12 eggs two days ago. I've had my lizard for over 10 years and this is the first. I went to clean the cage and low and behold she was laying them in the hideout. I logged onto the internet to get some information on incubating them, but very little is there. However, immediately, I temporialy mixed some perlite with sand and a little water and place it in a tupperware container and placed a digital themometer inside it and covered it with the lid with 4 tiny holes in the top. I then placed the container inside the habitat with the rest of the lizards. The only problem is that there is conflicting information as to what the temperature and humidity should be. So far it ranges from 89-92 degrees and the humidity is 99%. Can anyone give me some ideas who have had this experience. Some of the eggs have caved in slightly and some is completely round. Not sure if they are to be all white or tan or brown. They look a little tan because when she laid them the sand got on it. At first they were soft when she laid them but now they seem to be getting a little firm. Not sure if I'm doing this correctly or if the eggs are okay. HELP!
