i noticed you got a 40 gal long, well heres what i did with my 40 gal. i built ontop for about 30$ using the 40 gal screen top for the front and where the screen didnt reach i used plexi, all attached with velcro so its removable
i have since revised this enclosure with forest floor(soilmix) and a bigger water dish, i removed the red light for a basking light since night temps are decent now that spring is rolling in. if you would like plans on how to make this please feel free to e-mail me for the write up!
