We just got back from a trip and found that the Bluebar panther we have has an odd, large bump on his nose. The person taking care of him while we were gone admitted that one of his bulbs had 'broke' during our absence and shattered on him, though he appears fine.

However, could this bump be a result of the glass? Maybe a cut or an abscess? The bulb popping happened early last week. If it is an abscess, is there any way we can drain it ourselves or should we just take him to a vet? Will it go away on it's own or will it just get worse?

Any suggestions?
