Sometimes there is no reason why...it just happens. If she was an import it's possible that she ended up with a parasite overload, or that parasites she'd had caused permanent damage. Without necropsy there's no way to tell exactly what did it. RI's can kill them in a day as well, but that sounded secondary to the original problem.
