In my 2nd year of owning my GTPs. While I never witnessed tail hanging penetration, there was activity and coiling between the two for months. I do see, and have for the last 2 weeks, some swelling. Not the HUGE swelling like I've seen in some pics, but I could have missed it. The dam in question ceased eating in Jan and is still rather girthy in the mid section and is dull green with a blue tint all over. Im confused having read a number of publications whether the coloration change is a sign of ovulation, being gravid...or either? I still have the male with her to be sure. How can I tell or be sure if she is gravid at this stage?
