Just picked up my first tokay earlier today. Man is he nasty. I have 3 leopards, 3 cresteds, and now this guy. I already knew he was mean, so I wear a glove but he doesn't care. He bites and barks at the same time...lol. I love him though. I will try holding him every day, but he jumps too...sigh, oh well. I will just have to adapt and overcome. What are their FAVORITE food? I know you can feed them meal, super, and wax worms, pinkies, roaches, and of course crickets, but what do they LOVE?? Any pointers? or just pretty much like caring for cresteds except for the need for more heat? His substrate is cocoa fiber with fake vines, a cool stick with a "hollow" inside of it, and a water bowl just for extra measure. I don't expect him to ever drink out of it though., oh yeah and his 50 watt heat lamp. I had it sitting on the screen, but he climbed right up to it, and I thought it might burn him, so I raised about 6 inches with a clamp. Am I missing anything? Thanks
Matt Z.
