As I sit here writing this, I have a juvenile eastern coachwhip so weak that it can only barely move. The culprit was crawling all over him (full of blood and by the tens) when I noticed his sluggish and non-receptive behavior. I had a mite problem back in the summer and cured it with a combination of changing to newspaper from aspen substrate, and oil dipping and ivomec. So recently i made the not so smart decision to try this coconut hull substrate that you soak in water, and it expands to 8 times it size. Now it is like these things just cam out of the wood work. or coconut work rather. Literally. So I am very bummed out right now. Can anybody give me some tips, or stories of your own. Just to make me feel better. Oh by the way, as I was finishing this, it just died. Thanks, in advance.
